Tata Communications is hiring an Assistant Manager - Corporate Legal to join their office in Bengaluru. The role involves handling legal and commercial matters related to CPaaS, RCS, Voice, and WhatsApp services, providing end-to-end legal support including contracting, risk assessment, deal execution, ensuring compliance, supporting legal documentation and approvals, and managing bid and auction processes including RFP/RFQ review, negotiation, and execution of agreements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end legal support for CPaaS, RCS, and WhatsApp services business.
- Handle contracting, risk assessment, and deal execution.
- Identify opportunities to streamline legal processes and improve efficiency.
- Support legal documentation, approvals, and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
- Review and vet RFPs and RFQs.
- Negotiate and finalize transaction documentation.
- Execute and register agreements, deeds, and related documents in compliance with applicable laws.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, pricing models, and legal risk assessment.
- Knowledge of Data, Voice, CPaaS, RCS, and Managed Services business models is desirable.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks related to telecom and digital messaging services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic approach.
- Ability to handle multiple complex transactions in a fast-paced environment.
