Tata Communications is hiring an Assistant Manager – Corporate Legal to join its Bengaluru office. The role involves handling all legal and commercial matters related to the CPaaS, RCS, Voice, and WhatsApp services business in a swift, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective manner for the assigned region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Providing end-to-end legal support for the CPaaS, RCS, and WhatsApp services business, including contracting, risk assessment, and deal execution.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline legal processes, improve turnaround time, and enhance efficiency of legal support.
- Supporting legal documentation, approvals, and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
- Managing bid and auction processes, including reviewing and vetting RFPs and RFQs.
- Negotiating and finalising transaction documentation.
- Executing and registering agreements, deeds, and ancillary documents in compliance with applicable laws.
Eligibility
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, pricing models, and legal risk assessment.
- Knowledge of Data, Voice, CPaaS, RCS, and Managed Services business models is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to telecom and digital messaging services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic approach to legal support.
- Ability to manage multiple complex transactions in a fast-paced environment.
