Tata Communications is hiring an Assistant Manager – Corporate Legal to provide legal support in procurement contracts, commercial agreements, and company processes. The role involves contract management, stakeholder engagement, strategic legal support, and risk compliance.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate standard and non-standard contracts.
- Provide legal interpretation and preliminary dispute support before litigation.
- Act as the primary legal contact for Commercial and Procurement teams.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive deal closures.
- Support business growth through innovative legal solutions.
- Guide business teams on company processes and legal strategy.
- Assist in developing and implementing legal policies and templates.
- Spearhead documentation and contracting process improvements.
- Maintain standard agreements and service schedules.
- Support HR, lease agreements, and intellectual property matters.
- Negotiate data processing agreements and manage external counsels.
- Proactively manage legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Interface with other legal teams including compliance, regulatory, and litigation.
Eligibility
Legal qualifications with relevant experience in corporate legal matters.
