Details of the Job/Internship
Bandhan AMC Limited is looking for a candidate for the position of Assistant Manager Finance with 4-5 years of experience to join them at their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare Consolidated financial statements and Gift City (FME) branch financial statements.
- Assist in monthly preparation of Standalone financial statements.
- Ensure accurate accounting entries, disclosures and timely month-end closure (T+2).
- Coordinate with business team to determine monthly expense provisions including unprocessed and recurring claims.
- Account for prepaid expenses.
- Co-ordination with employees and depts to arrive at accurate monthly provisions.
- Maintain asset and liability schedules; ensure timely settlement and accounting of corporate Credit card claims and supplier and capital advances.
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end and year-end workings in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Support quarterly and annual reportings including preparation of RPT, MSME and Notes to FS.
- Assist in Annual reports, XBRL and other returns.
- Prepare estimate for quarterly Advance tax payment.
- Evaluate business transactions and contracts to determine appropriate accounting treatment under IND AS with strong focus on IND AS 16, IND AS 24, IND AS 38, IND. AS 115 and IND AS 116 and related standards.
- Prepare accounting memos and technical notes justifying IND AS position for management and auditors.
- Review GL entries and financial statements for IND AS compliance.
- Ensure effective control for all Finance activities.
- Maintain IFC documents for all activities.
- Assist in drafting policies and updating them for new standards or interpretations.
- Make system improvement based on control gaps.
- Manage and liaise with statutory and internal auditors.
- Provide data to auditors and resolve audit queries.
- Ensure audit timely completion of year end and quarterly audits.
- Liaise with various depts for audit data.
- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory reviews with strong technical explanations.
- Provide active support and contribute to tax control projects.
- Prepare data & MIS for regulatory reporting to AMFI, RBI, SEBI, IFSCA, etc. (eg. Networth report, MPR, SERF, etc)
- Reply to queries in a timely manner
- Follow ups for queries with the concerned person, coordinate with team members for resolving queries.
- Various Statutory and business MIS as per requirement.
- Provide training and guidance to team.
Eligibility
- CA with 4-5 years preferably from a similar industry (banking, insurance, AMCs, wealth management, etc.).
- Experience in preparing working as per various accounting standards (IND AS).
- Experience in Gift City Set up and accounting would be preferred, or experience in managing foreign branches.
- Should have experience in finalising consolidated financial statements.
