Details of the Job/Internship
Lex Visas is hiring an Assistant Manager – Immigration (Outbound) with 5+ years of experience to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Understanding employment visa processes, laws, and norms for major outbound countries from India.
- Working with international legal partners on temporary non-immigrant visas and country-specific work permits.
- Drafting Letters of Support and managing documentation for work permit applications.
- Coordinating consular filings and document checklists.
- Briefing applicants on consular procedures and conducting mock interviews.
- Verifying accuracy and completeness of visa application documents.
- Liaising with clients, consulates, embassies, visa facilitation agencies, and high commissions.
- Tracking immigration assignments using matrices and reporting tools.
- Preparing periodic reports on visa applications and immigration metrics.
- Maintaining a knowledge base of travel documentation requirements across regions.
Eligibility
- Any graduate, preferably with certification in travel or tourism.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in immigration, travel, or hospitality.
- Experience in handling outbound visa applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and observational skills.
