Details of the Job/Internship
Elevate is hiring an Assistant Manager for its Contracts – Managed Service Team with 3–5 years of experience to join its Gurugram office. The role involves supporting global client engagements by preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and managing commercial and business documentation while ensuring quality, compliance, and efficient contracting processes.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review and redline a wide range of commercial contracts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client playbooks and guidelines.
- Independently draft standard legal clauses with minimal supervision.
- Apply client-specific instructions and requirements accurately.
- Discuss, negotiate, and finalise contract drafts with client business teams, legal counsel, and counterparties.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, policy requirements, and client expectations.
- Identify and flag risks, inconsistencies, and deviations, and suggest improvements.
- Maintain version control and document hygiene across engagements.
- Act as a point of contact for client stakeholders on drafting-related queries.
- Collaborate with client legal counsel and cross-functional teams to support seamless contract processes.
- Support managers in implementing process updates and best practices.
- Contribute to internal knowledge repositories, templates, and processes.
- Participate in team discussions and feedback to improve drafting processes.
- Stay updated on CLM tools and support their effective use.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and assist in onboarding new joiners.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law.
- 3–5 years of experience as a commercial contract attorney.
- Prior experience in a professional services or legal support environment.
- Strong command of written English and professional communication.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with document management systems and workflow tools.
