Details of the Job/Internship
Godrej Industries Group is hiring an Intellectual Property Counsel with 5–7 years of experience to join its Corporate Legal Team.
Role and Responsibilities
- File trademarks, copyrights, and attend office actions and hearings.
- Handle prosecution, opposition, maintenance, and renewal of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and designs.
- Manage counterfeit actions and related proceedings across jurisdictions.
- Advise on IP issues such as brand clearance, promotional materials, and domain names.
- Draft and negotiate IP-related and commercial contracts.
- Maintain and update IP databases and manage related expenses.
- Assist the IP Lead in managing the overall IP portfolio.
Eligibility
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Law.
- 5–7 years of PQE, preferably in a law firm or in-house team of a large company or MNC.
- In-depth knowledge of intellectual property laws.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and commercial skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Self-driven with a willingness to learn and improve.
