Details of the Job/Internship
Diageo India is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal Administration with 1–3 years of experience to support its legal team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support drafting and negotiation of legal contracts, notices, and templates.
- Manage contract lifecycle processes including intake, review, execution, and storage.
- Track contract variations, change requests, and claims.
- Handle IP administration, including tracking ownership, licences, and filings.
- Maintain IP registers, contract repositories, and legal records.
- Support litigation tracking and cost management.
- Coordinate with external counsel and manage documentation and invoices.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the legal team.
- Ensure organised and audit-ready legal documentation and records.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree with LLB (LLM or diploma in IPR preferred).
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in IP management and litigation workflows.
- Knowledge of IP laws and legal drafting.
- Experience in law firms or in-house IP teams preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and DocuSign.
- Experience with tools such as ProVakil and Anaqua.
