MyShubhLife is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal and Compliance with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure secretarial compliance under the Companies Act, 2013, and directives from relevant regulators.
- Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely filings with regulators.
- Oversee compliance with corporate governance and disclosure requirements.
- Stay updated on lending business models, NBFC operations, and RBI regulations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, internal policies, and industry best practices.
- Stay informed about NBFC regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
- Assist in filing and registering documents, forms, and returns with regulators such as RBI and MCA.
- Keep updated with amendments to the Companies Act, RBI guidelines, and other applicable laws.
- Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.
Eligibility
- Qualified Company Secretary, preferably with an LLB.
- 3–5 years of experience in Microfinance or NBFC sector.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, RBI guidelines, and corporate governance.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Awareness of recent legal developments and their business impact.
