Details of the Job/Internship

UltraTech Cement is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager - Legal & Compliance with 2 years of experience to join their office in Nagpur.

Role and Responsibilities

• Systems & Process Management
• Leverage in-depth SAP knowledge for system development, testing, and integration with business portals
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across SAP and other internal systems
• Audit & Compliance
• Conduct Risk Assessments, oversee Internal Controls, and ensure SOP adherence
• Perform audits across RMC and BPD plants, including godown operations
• Ensure compliance with statutory and internal regulatory frameworks
• Financial Management
• Finalize RMC books, handle provisions, write-backs, policy-related accounting, and PL/BS variance analysis
• Oversee Trial Balance reviews, including GL scrutiny, vendor ageing, and fixed cost monitoring
• Lead Planning and Budgeting exercises for RMC business functions
• Legal & Contractual Oversight
• Review and vet commercial agreements, contracts, bank guarantees, and letters of credit (LCs)
• Manage contingent liabilities and reply to legal notices in coordination with the Head Office
• Handle fraud cases, customer recoveries, and initiate legal actions as required
• Issue legal notices per SOP and support dispute resolution or mediation with customers/vendors
• Financial Operations
• Review and monitor TPC (Total Project Cost), and ensure timely and compliant payment processing

Eligibility

Experience: Minimum 2 years
