Details of the Job/Internship

Medanta is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager - Legal Contracts with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Contract Management:
  • Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of agreements including but not limited to:
  • Clinical Trial Agreements
  • Lease and Leave & License Agreements
  • Master Service Agreements, Sample Agreements, SLAs, and MoUs
• Treasury Document Support:
  • Draft and vet financial and treasury-related documents such as:
  • Loan Agreements
  • Corporate Guarantees
  • Deeds of Hypothecation
  • Bank Sanction Letters
  • Indemnity Bonds and Bank Guarantees
• Template Development:
• Create and maintain standard contract templates for recurring business needs.
• Stakeholder Coordination:
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal teams and external parties for timely closure of transactions in accordance with agreed timelines.
• Negotiation & Due Diligence:
• Lead contract negotiations, structure transactions, and conduct legal due diligence where required.

Eligibility

• LLB from a recognized university.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal department.
• Strong understanding of:
• Labour, civil, criminal, and corporate laws.
• Intellectual Property laws (Trademark, Copyright, IP registration processes).
• Policies, regulations, and compliance requirements of central and state government bodies.
