Details of the Job/Internship

Medanta is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager - Legal Contracts with 5-7 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize various commercial agreements, including but not limited to:
• Clinical Trial Agreements
• Lease and Leave & License Agreements
• Master Service Agreements, MOUs, and Sample Agreements
• Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Draft and vet treasury-related legal documents, such as:
• Loan Agreements
• Corporate Guarantees
• Deeds of Hypothecation
• Bank Sanction Letters
• Indemnity Bonds and Bank Guarantees
• Develop and maintain standardized legal templates for business operations.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely closure of transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence and provide support in negotiating and structuring transactions.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a recognized university.
• 5–7 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, with a focus on contracts and commercial law.
• Strong understanding of labour laws, civil and criminal procedures, and corporate law.
• Familiarity with intellectual property laws, including trademark, copyright, and IP registration processes.
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks, including Central and State government regulations, statutory compliances, and policy matters.
