Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager/Legal Manager to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Agreement Management: Draft, structure, vet, negotiate, and finalize a wide range of agreements, aligning them with business objectives and ensuring effective risk mitigation for the company.
• Statutory Compliance: Review statutory compliance across various locations, recommend remedial actions, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement these measures promptly.
• Risk Mitigation & Advisory: Understand business operations, analyze potential risks, advise on strategies to mitigate liabilities, and provide ongoing legal counsel to stakeholders on various issues.

Eligibility

• Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.).
• Agreement Expertise: Proven ability in drafting, vetting, and negotiating diverse agreements, both within India and cross-border.
• Legal Acumen: Exposure to Statutory Compliances, Litigation, and Intellectual Property Law is a significant advantage.
• Negotiation & Business Insight: Strong negotiation skills coupled with keen business and financial acumen.
• Communication & Drafting: Exceptional communication and drafting skills, capable of producing high-quality agreements and legal documents.
• Professional Ethics: A high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and gravitas, with a strong understanding of business operations.
• Leadership & Independence: Ability to influence across all levels of the business, including peers and senior management, and work effectively independently.
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, sound judgment, and strong risk-mitigating abilities.
