EY is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal Counsel – UK Quality with 5–8 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact on Quality-related risk management issues.
- Review and advise on various contracts including NDAs, MSAs, EULAs, and technology agreements.
- Provide training and updates to stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal teams such as Legal, Security, Privacy, and Risk.
- Stay informed of policy and procedural updates affecting the firm.
- Contribute to developing training materials and risk frameworks.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with 5–8 years of experience in legal drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts.
- Familiarity with UK law preferred.
- Prior experience in risk management or legal advisory at a professional services firm.
- Knowledge of GDPR, compliance, and IT contracts (e.g., software licensing, SaaS, consulting agreements).
- Experience with stakeholder engagement and project management.
- Proficiency in IP-related contract terms.
Salary/Stipend
