Details of the Job/Internship
Adani Power (APL) is hiring a Legal Manager – Land Acquisition with a minimum experience of 5 years.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal due diligence for land acquisition in compliance with applicable laws.
- Draft, review, and negotiate land-related agreements, contracts, and MoUs.
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies for approvals and clearances.
- Handle disputes related to land ownership, acquisition, or land usage.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and statutory requirements for thermal projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align land strategies with project timelines.
- Maintain records of land transactions, legal documents, and compliance reports.
- Provide legal advisory support to the Land Head and project teams.
- Monitor changes in land laws and regulations affecting the thermal power sector.
- Support risk assessment and mitigation related to land acquisition and compliance.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised institution.
- Specialisation in land laws is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in land legal functions.
- Experience in the power or infrastructure sector is preferred.
- Proven experience in handling large-scale land acquisition projects and regulatory compliance.
