Details of the Job/Internship

Awfis Space Solutions Ltd. is hiring a Legal Manager with experience in legal drafting, contract vetting, and due diligence to support its legal operations. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, vet, and standardise legal documents such as Commercial Leave & License Agreements, Lease Deeds, Operating Agreements, Fit-Out Agreements, and Common Area Maintenance Agreements.
• Ensure compliance with agreed turnaround time for document review and amendments.
• Conduct legal due diligence on lease arrangements including title investigations, Occupancy Certificate (OC) or Completion Certificate (CC) verification, Fire NOCs, and compliance with local legislation.
• Ensure all property deals comply with legal and commercial requirements before finalisation.
• Provide accurate legal opinions and ensure regulatory compliance across company operations.
• Review contracts related to customers, alliances, marketing, design and build agreements, and procurement within agreed timelines.
• Liaise with legal consultants, landlords, and internal stakeholders for timely finalisation of agreements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and legal records in accordance with internal compliance checklists.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure documentation integrity and compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements in drafting, vetting, and contract management.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in drafting and vetting contracts, settlement deeds, notices, NDAs, vendor agreements, and related legal documents.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• High standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts.
