Details of the Job/Internship

AWL Agri Business Ltd. is hiring a Legal Manager / Senior Legal Associate to lead litigation, IPR, contracts, and regulatory compliance for its FMCG business.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end litigation across civil, criminal, food safety, IPR, Legal Metrology, APMC, and land revenue matters.
• Lead IPR strategy including trademarks, copyrights, designs, patents, domains, oppositions, enforcement, and anti-counterfeiting actions.
• Own complete CLM: drafting, reviewing, negotiating, vetting, renewing, and maintaining contract documentation across business functions.
• Advise the business on food safety regulations, FSSA compliance, Legal Metrology, packaging laws, EPR/CPCB requirements (mandatory KRA).
• Ensure compliance with Legal Metrology Act, Food Safety & Standards Act, and applicable environmental legislations impacting FMCG operations.
• Identify legal risks proactively and design mitigation strategies with actionable guidance to leadership.
• Handle customer complaints, regulatory queries, and statutory notices to minimize risk exposure.
• Engage with municipal, quasi-judicial, and regulatory authorities for approvals and compliance.
• Coordinate with external counsels for litigation and specialized matters.

Eligibility

• LLB/LLM with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience exclusively in the FMCG sector.
• Hands-on exposure to litigation, regulatory compliance, IPR, and contracts.
• Willingness to relocate to Ahmedabad and travel for court matters and audits.

Salary/Stipend
