Details of the Job/Internship
Balaji Telefilms Ltd. is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal with experience of 5+ years to join their office in Andheri West, Mumbai
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review comprehensive agreements for artists, directors, cast, and crew members.
- Handle specialized contracts for writers, showrunners, and industry consultants.
- Negotiate legal terms for co-production and content development deals.
- Manage brand tie-ups, syndication, and licensing agreements for various media assets.
- Ensure strict compliance in areas of Intellectual Property (IP), content rights, and monetization.
- Review and vet production-related documentation to mitigate non-litigation risks.
- Coordinate with internal production teams to align legal frameworks with creative timelines.
Eligibility
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Media & Entertainment Law.
- Proven expertise in production-related legal drafting and contract management.
- Strong negotiation and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work from the Mumbai office on a Monday to Saturday schedule.
- Deep understanding of IP laws and content licensing within the Indian media landscape.
