Details of the Job/Internship
Baldota Group is hiring for the position of Assistant Legal Manager with 2-4 years of experience to join their office in Hospet, Karnataka.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet supply and service contracts.
- Validate and review NDAs, MOUs, and vendor/supplier agreements.
- Conduct legal research and provide concise summaries on complex matters for senior leadership.
- Analyse legal risks and implications of contractual clauses and regulatory circulars.
- Prepare reports on mining laws and other sector-specific legislation.
- Monitor and track key legislative changes, amendments, and emerging bills.
- Assist in the digitization and systematic organization of legal records.
- Provide agile and insightful legal support across departments.
- Deliver quick-turnaround case notes and legal summaries to Directors.
- Undertake additional legal assignments as directed by the Head – Legal.
Eligibility
- 2 years of legal practice + 4+ years of overall legal experience.
- Strong expertise in contract law and contract lifecycle management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and write in Kannada (mandatory).
- Demonstrated agility in legal comprehension and document analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
