Details of the Job/Internship
BDO India LLP is hiring an Assistant Manager – Service Contracts with 4–10 years of PQE to join their legal team in Mumbai (Dadar).
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including Client Service Engagement Letters, Master Service Agreements, Consultancy Contracts, Vendor Agreements, Joint Business Agreements, and more.
- Draft contracts from scratch and create/maintain standard templates.
- Negotiate contracts directly with clients.
- Manage internal stakeholder requirements related to contracts.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
- Conduct legal research on applicable matters.
- Support additional requirements related to contract management.
Eligibility
- LLB is mandatory; CS/LLM preferred.
- 4–10 years PQE with strong experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in drafting contracts from scratch and maintaining templates.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- High analytical ability, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strategic thinking with mentoring ability.
