Details of the Job/Internship
Bright Bridge InfoTech is hiring an Assistant Manager Legal to join their office in Coimbatore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and all other legal documents, ensuring business rights and interests are safeguarded, and coordinating with lawyers/advocates to ensure documents are legally sound.
- Drafting and vetting of MOU, bank guarantees, indemnity bonds (if any), undertakings, authority letters, vendor contracts, etc.
- Expert level knowledge in property laws, including land laws, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Duty Act, Registration Act, etc.
- Expertise in verifying title deeds, survey numbers, encumbrance certificates, and ownership history for title clearance and ensuring a smooth and efficient property transfer and registration process.
- Familiarity with procedures at the sub-registrar's office for property registration and coordinating with government offices to complete the registration process.
- Proficiency in using property registration portals and online services for property valuation, stamp duty calculation, and document submission.
- Providing advice on contract requirements, legal risks, and potential liabilities.
- Research to evaluate risk factors impacting business decisions, applying risk management techniques, and offering proactive advice.
- Responding to customer/advocate notices/queries/legal and show cause notices and resolving the same.
