Details of the Job/Internship
CACTUS is hiring an Assistant Manager, Legal with 7–9 years of experience to join their centralized legal team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalise MSAs, vendor agreements, NDAs, and lease deeds.
- Optimise contract processes using technology.
- Provide legal advice, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Develop and monitor corporate policies and ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Ensure compliance with global data protection laws, including GDPR.
- Standardise agreements and policies for freelancers and contractors.
- Manage intellectual property protection, enforcement, and filings.
- Handle legal notices, pre-litigation matters, and coordinate with external counsel.
- Conduct legal research on cross-border regulations and emerging topics.
- Build templates, trackers, and dashboards to streamline legal processes.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Law (LL.B.).
- Seven to nine years of experience in corporate legal roles.
- Expertise in contract management, data privacy, and compliance.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Experience in international corporate and contractual laws.
- Ability to simplify legal concepts for non-legal teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
