Details of the Job/Internship
Cheil India is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager – Legal with 5 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Provide legal advice and solutions to support business functions.
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Manage relationships with external legal counsel and coordinate on litigation or dispute resolution.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant legislation and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address legal issues promptly and effectively.
Eligibility
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a reputed institution; additional certifications in corporate or contract law are an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a legal role within a corporate environment, preferably in media, advertising, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and compliance frameworks.
- Proven expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
- Proficiency in legal research with the ability to provide actionable advice.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
