Details of the Job/Internship
Emeritus is hiring an Assistant Manager, Legal – Enterprise Team with 3+ years of experience to support its Enterprise Business contracts across India, APAC, the United States, and Europe.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise business contracts and related commercial, marketing, advertising, and IT agreements.
- Provide legal advice on structuring business transactions and negotiating contractual terms.
- Prepare, update, and manage standard form agreements in coordination with global regional counsel.
- Partner with the Privacy Team to advise on privacy laws impacting the enterprise business.
- Train internal stakeholders on contracting processes and best practices.
- Support a high volume of business-critical legal matters across multiple time zones.
Eligibility
- LLB degree and enrollment as an Advocate with a State Bar Council is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Prior in-house experience with a global technology or education company is preferred.
- Exposure to privacy laws is preferred.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work independently.
