Details of the Job/Internship

Haptik is hiring a Legal Assistant Manager with 4–7 years of experience to support its growing business in their Mumbai office. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Overseeing and managing legal matters related to contracts, compliance, and intellectual property.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer, vendor, and partnership agreements.
• Advising on regulatory compliance, data privacy, and cybersecurity issues relevant to SaaS operations.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align legal strategies with business objectives.
• Conducting legal research and risk analysis to support company initiatives.
• Monitoring changes in laws and regulations and communicating implications to relevant teams.
• Assisting in litigation and dispute resolution matters with external counsel.
• Providing legal training and guidance on policies and best practices.

Eligibility

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• 4–7 years of legal experience, preferably in SaaS, technology, or corporate law.
• Strong understanding of contract law and technology-related agreements.
• Knowledge of data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.

Salary/Stipend
