IDP is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager - Legal with 6+ years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, vet, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including leases, leave and license agreements, indemnity bonds, maintenance agreements, marketing agreements, agreements with influencers, PR/media agencies, contractor agreements, service agreements, manpower staffing agreements, freelancer agreements, technology/SaaS agreements, appointment/engagement/referral letters.
- Ensure adherence to all legal and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Assist in litigation, including vetting court documents, strategizing, and attending hearings.
- Provide support on police-related matters as required.
- Draft legal notices, responses, show cause replies, letters, undertakings, and declarations.
- Maintain databases and trackers for agreements, litigation cases, legal notices, and other statutory matters.
Eligibility
- 6+ years of relevant in-house legal experience.
- At least 2 years of litigation experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a reputed university.
- Strong knowledge of legal compliances and contract management.
- Willingness to travel for work-related matters as needed.
