Details of the Job/Internship
Ingram Micro is hiring a Sr. Executive – Legal with 1–3 years of experience to join their office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The role involves assisting the legal team with court hearings, documentation, administrative, and coordination tasks in a fast-paced legal environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Attend court hearings and maintain records and trackers for ongoing matters.
- Handle legal administrative work, including processing and tracking invoices, payments, and MIS of service providers.
- Submit expense provisions to finance on a monthly basis and resolve payment issues with service providers.
- Manage payment and refund of stamp duties and court fees and maintain related records.
- Open vendor accounts for processing payments and maintain MIS for audit requirements.
- Assist in document execution via DocuSign or physically, and coordinate notarization of documents with the Public Notary.
- Maintain and organize all legal department documents, including vendor/customer agreements, board minutes, and litigation files.
- Assist in preparing, formatting, and managing legal documents, contracts, and compliance filings.
- Track litigation updates, deadlines, and statutory compliance calendars.
- Schedule and coordinate legal meetings, hearings, and filings.
- Support internal due diligence and document compilation for legal audits.
- Draft basic legal correspondence and follow-up communications under supervision.
- Conduct legal research and retrieve case laws, statutes, and notifications as required.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in a legal support or legal administrative role.
- Exposure to corporate law, litigation tracking, or compliance preferred.
- Basic understanding of legal terminology and documentation.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal databases.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
