Details of the Job/Internship

KVN Properties is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager Legal with 5-12 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct property title scrutiny by tracing the chain of ownership, identifying defects, and preparing comprehensive title reports.
• Draft and review legal documents including:
• Sale agreements
• Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)
• Sale deeds
• Confirmation and rectification deeds
• Joint Development Agreements (JDA)
• General Power of Attorney (GPA)
• Affidavits, letters, and term sheets
• Ensure legal compliance for land acquisition and development; coordinate with external legal advisors for obtaining project-specific legal opinions.
• Handle registration processes at the Sub-Registrar’s office and ensure timely execution of all property-related documentation.
• Liaise with landowners, facilitators, and internal departments to procure necessary documents and resolve queries.
• Coordinate with survey teams, planning departments, and liaise with government authorities for statutory clearances and land-related matters.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized university in Karnataka.
• Enrolled as an Advocate with a Bar Council.
• Strong knowledge of Karnataka land laws and real estate regulations.
• Fluency in Kannada (reading and writing is mandatory).
• High attention to detail, excellent drafting and analytical skills.

Salary/Stipend
