Details of the Job/Internship
MBG Corporate Services UAE is hiring an Assistant Manager Legal with 2–4 years of experience to join its team in Dubai. The role involves providing legal counsel, representation, and strategic guidance on various aspects of UAE laws, with a strong focus on corporate and commercial matters, document drafting, and case strategy for a diverse client base.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing simple and complex contracts including lease agreements, sale and purchase agreements, distribution agreements, EPC contracts, and joint venture agreements.
- Providing legal consultation and advice on commercial, civil, criminal, and regulatory matters.
- Handling corporate secretarial and governance functions.
- Drafting legal opinions and reports on UAE laws including civil transaction law, company law, real estate law, construction law, insurance law, commercial agency law, and bankruptcy law.
- Assisting with maintenance and updating of the legal database and conducting training to enhance legal awareness within the business.
- Advising on ADGM and DIFC laws.
- Advising clients on corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters with practical risk mitigation strategies.
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, agreements, MOUs, MOAs, and other legal documents.
- Handling corporate secretarial services, free zone compliance, and ensuring regulatory adherence.
- Supporting dispute resolution and litigation strategy and liaising with UAE courts, authorities, and stakeholders.
- Providing guidance on wills, estate planning, and succession strategies.
- Drafting, reviewing, and executing DIFC wills in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conducting legal research, interpreting new laws and regulations, and advising clients on their implications.
- Drafting articles and blogs for publication.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and providing updates on assignments, case progress, and legal strategies.
Eligibility
- University bachelor’s degree in Law and qualification as a Company Secretary.
- Two to four years of post-qualification experience with a strong focus on corporate and commercial matters.
- Excellent drafting skills gained at a reputed law firm or legal consultancy.
Salary/Stipend
