Details of the Job/Internship

Nature’s Basket Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting and vetting agreements related to immovable properties, contracts, and other legal documents to safeguard the company’s interests.
• Obtaining and renewing various licences, permissions, and NOC compliances in accordance with statutory requirements, including Food Laws and Legal Metrology laws.
• Preparing and circulating MIS relating to legal compliance, business contracts, and company properties.
• Monitoring and ensuring timely compliance with statutory requirements.
• Ensuring that legal requirements related to business operations are adhered to within the governing legal framework across various locations and geographies.
• Enabling strict compliance with internally established policies, procedures, and practices.
• Researching, evaluating, and highlighting risk factors relating to business decisions and operations from a legal compliance and liability perspective.
• Communicating and negotiating with external parties, including regulators, external counsel, and public authorities, to build relationships of trust.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Legislative Law.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven experience as a Legal Counsel in a business environment.
• Updated knowledge of amendments and changes in laws relating to the food and grocery retail business.
• Sound judgment and the ability to analyse situations and information.

Salary/Stipend
