Qrata is hiring a Legal Manager with 4+ years of post-qualification experience to manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, provide legal advisory, and support compliance and recovery matters..
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract Lifecycle Management:
- Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, vetting, negotiating, and executing agreements with external stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate legal risks in vendor agreements; coordinate with internal teams for deviations.
- Monitor contract renewals to ensure timely execution and avoid operational disruptions.
- Periodically review and update standard templates and SOPs to align with evolving legal and business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs for agreements, vendor onboarding, NDAs, and brand transitions.
- Maintain full utilization of contract management systems; train business teams on workflows and processes.
- Support recovery disputes, legal notices, and ongoing litigation related to vendor relationships.
- Continuously improve drafting standards for clarity, commercial detailing, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain organized legal databases and contract repositories for easy retrieval and compliance tracking.
- Knowledge Management & Advisory:
- Stay updated on legal developments, regulatory changes, and judicial pronouncements relevant to e-commerce and the beauty industry.
- Participate in professional development and learning programs.
- Collaborate effectively within the legal team and cross-functional business teams.
- Provide proactive, commercially pragmatic legal advice for business initiatives, projects, and collaborations.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to strengthen contract negotiations and legal advisories.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM from a reputed law school.
- 4+ years of post-qualification experience in an in-house legal role, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or services.
- Expertise in contract lifecycle management, negotiation, legal risk assessment, and advisory.
- Familiarity with contract management tools is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter, problem-solving mindset, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to recovery matters preferred.
