Rustomjee is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager Legal with 6 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate property-related agreements, including agreements for sale, development agreements, joint development agreements, sale deeds, and conveyance deeds.
- Draft and review contracts/agreements relating to the Company’s support functions.
- Conduct thorough title due diligence, including revenue record scrutiny, encumbrance checks, and preparation of search reports.
- Ensure compliance with Maharashtra-specific real estate laws, including MLRC, RERA, MOFA, and other applicable legislations.
- Manage RERA registrations, updates, and compliance filings.
- Identify potential legal risks in transactions and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Provide legal opinions and guidance on property-related matters.
Eligibility
- Education: LL.B. / LL.M. from a recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in real estate legal practice, preferably in Maharashtra.
- Strong expertise in Maharashtra-specific property and land laws.
- Proven ability in drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder communication.
