Details of the Job/Internship
Saatvik Solar is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager Legal with 2-3 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Contract Drafting & Negotiation:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, including Term Sheets, Master Service Agreements (MSA), Power Purchase Agreements (PPA), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), Tolling Agreements, and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).
- Cross-Functional Legal Support:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to advise on and review business contracts such as supply agreements, service contracts, and other commercial arrangements.
- Litigation & IP Coordination:
- Work with external legal counsel, under the guidance of the supervisor, to manage litigation matters and intellectual property-related issues.
- Legal Oversight & Compliance:
- Supervise the legal division and provide guidance to in-house legal counsel.
- Oversee major contractual negotiations, legal proceedings, and compliance-related matters.
- Liaise with external law firms on specialized legal issues.
- Industry-Specific Knowledge:
- Familiarity with industrial laws applicable to the solar energy and agro-chemical sectors will be considered a strong advantage.
Eligibility
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years.
- Qualification: LLB (LLM preferred).
