Details of the Job/Internship

Spark Capital Group is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager Legal with 3-4 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including:
  • Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Engagement Letters for investment banking and wealth segments
  • Distribution Agreements for third-party financial products (PMS, AIFs, Mutual Funds, Insurance)
  • Letters of Intent (LOIs), Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs) for unlisted deals and micro-investment banking transactions
• Vendor Contracts for departments like IT, HR, Finance, Admin, and Operations.
• Provide legal support for cross-functional queries and ensure timely execution of documents.
• Maintain organized records and repositories for drafted and executed documents, categorized by segment/entity.
• Draft adhoc legal documents, declarations, and responses as needed.
• Monitor and interpret key regulatory, legal, and compliance updates affecting wealth management and licensed businesses.
• Collaborate closely with th.e Legal & Compliance department on ongoing initiatives.

Eligibility

• LLB or equivalent from a reputed law school.
• 3–4 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 2 years in financial. services (investment banking, wealth management, or similar).
• Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality, and legal precision.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Salary/Stipend
