Details of the Job/Internship
SportsBaazi is hiring an Assistant Manager Legal with 5–6 years of experience to join their office in Chattarpur, Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Vet, draft, negotiate, finalize, and close various contracts and transactional documents in coordination with relevant departments.
Litigation Management
- Coordinate with external counsel.
- Track litigation progress and vet petitions, pleadings, writs, affidavits, appeals, and complaints.
- Maintain MIS and update senior management on litigation status.
Legal Research
- Advise on internal legal queries.
- Coordinate with external lawyers on complex issues.
- Analyze laws and amendments and inform senior management through memos or statements.
IP Management
- Manage and monitor IP portfolios and renewal deadlines.
- Support enforcement or litigation related to the company’s IP.
- Maintain an IP tracker.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university in India.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience working in a legal capacity within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to independently identify and address complex legal issues with minimal supervision.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight timelines.
- Capability to handle multiple stakeholders and priorities.
