Role and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Expertise: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of civil and criminal law, including court procedures and legal precedents.
- Legal Documentation: Prepare and respond to legal notices, draft settlement agreements, and represent the company in court proceedings when required.
- Litigation Management: Oversee and manage the company's litigation portfolio, ensuring timely and effective resolution of legal disputes.
- Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice and guidance to various departments within the company, addressing legal queries and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Dispute Resolution: Follow established dispute resolution processes while identifying opportunities for improvement and efficiency enhancement within the legal framework.
- Technology Proficiency: Utilize Outlook and Teams for communication and collaboration purposes, ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Software Skills: Possess functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for legal documentation, data analysis, and presentation purposes.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in law from a recognized institution.
- Admission to the Bar Association preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in a legal capacity, preferably as a in-house counsel role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
