Vianaar Homes is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager Legal with 5-8 years of experience to join their office in Goa.
Role and Responsibilities
- Experience in title scrutiny, land registration, RERA, MoUs, legal document drafting, litigation matters, and court cases.
- Coordinate registration work at the Sub-Registrar’s office.
- Handle legal queries from customers, advocates, and bankers.
- Manage all legal documentation related to the company.
- Support documentation, review processes, and recommend improvements.
- Draft Joint Development Agreements, Agreements of Sale, Sale Deeds, Powers of Attorney, Construction Agreements, MoUs, Procurement Agreements, and other property-related deeds.
- Manage legal affairs and coordinate with senior advocates/lawyers on organisational matters.
- Draft legal documents and letters for communication with authorities and stakeholders.
- Provide legal assistance and maintain close interaction with other departments.
- Maintain files and records in a chronological manner.
- Conduct legal research and case searches as required.
- Report to the Head of Legal and complete assigned tasks.
- Manage a team and ensure completion of assigned work.
- Appear before judicial and quasi-judicial authorities and maintain case records.
Eligibility
- Full-time Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) degree from a recognised university.
- Experience in the real estate industry, including title scrutiny, land registration, RERA, MoUs, legal drafting, litigation matters, and court cases.
- 5 to 8 years of experience with sound knowledge of the Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act, Registration Act/procedures, Goa Land Revenue Act, and the Goa Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
- Diverse understanding of legal processes.
- Strong contract and agreement vetting skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent communication and writing abilities.
- Knowledge of civil, commercial, labour, and corporate laws.
- Familiarity with title verification, revenue documents, and sourcing from relevant departments.
- Experience in handling registration of deeds before Sub-Registrar/District Registrar offices.
- Exposure to litigation practices and current court procedures.
- Ability to interpret real estate case laws, legal updates, and conduct legal research.
- Awareness of processes and rules related to registration and adjudication of agreements/documents.
