Details of the Job/Internship

Crystal Crop Protection Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager-Patent with experience of 3–5 years to join their office in Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patent searches, including FTO, patentability, invalidity, and landscape searches.
• Perform process due diligence and patent scouting to support research and development initiatives.
• Execute competitive intelligence tasks to monitor market trends and competitor filings.
• Utilize paid and free patent databases such as SCIFINDER, Questel Orbit, and Reaxys for in-depth technical research.
• Manage patent watch activities to stay updated on emerging technologies and potential infringements.
• Provide technical insights for patent filing, examination, and Indian patent law practices.
• Analyze chemical structures and organic processes to determine patentability and freedom to operate.

Eligibility

• Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry, B.Pharma/M.Pharma, or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed university.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in patent searches, due diligence, and patentability analysis.
• Mandatory: Must be a Registered Patent Agent.
• Proficiency in using search databases like Thomson Innovation, STN, or SciFinder.
• Desirable: Post-graduate diploma or certificate in IPR Law.
• Preferred: Prior in-house IP experience in the Agrochemical or Pharmaceutical industry.
