Details of the Job/Internship
Vianaar is hiring an Assistant Manager – Taxation with experience of at least 4 years to join their team.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with direct tax regulations including TDS, advance tax, and income tax.
- Prepare and review TDS reconciliations and advance tax calculations for operations in Delhi and Goa.
- Manage statutory reporting and support direct tax due diligence processes.
- Handle assessments, appeals, and responses to notices from the Income Tax Department.
- Oversee GST compliance including preparation, filing, and reconciliation of GST returns.
- Reconcile internal records with the GST portal and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage queries, audits, and notices from GST authorities.
- Represent the organisation in tax assessments, audits, appeals, and litigation before relevant authorities.
- Prepare responses, documentation, and briefs for legal counsel regarding ongoing tax matters.
- Coordinate with external consultants, advocates, and government authorities to resolve disputes.
- Share monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance and costing reports with the reporting manager.
- Support cash flow planning, cost analysis, and financial projections.
- Contribute to cost control initiatives and operational efficiency through tax and financial insights.
Eligibility
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in taxation including exposure to litigation.
- Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws and tax compliance.
- Experience handling tax compliance and regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with finance and legal teams.
- Experience in the real estate sector is an added advantage.
