Details of the Job/Internship

Ardent Co. is hiring an Assistant Manager / Manager – Public Policy with experience of 3–5 years to join their office in New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Track, analyse, and interpret public policy, regulatory, and legislative developments at central and state levels.
• Prepare policy briefs, position papers, consultation responses, and strategic advisory notes for clients.
• Manage client engagements with government ministries, regulators, parliamentary bodies, think tanks, and industry associations.
• Support senior consultants in designing and executing policy advocacy and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Coordinate with internal research, communications, and business development teams.
• Identify policy risks and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Represent clients and the firm at policy forums, roundtables, and conferences.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with policymakers and ecosystem stakeholders.

Eligibility

• Educational background in public policy, public administration, economics, law, political science, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in policy research, regulatory advisory, advocacy, or government relations.
• Strong understanding of India’s policy-making and regulatory landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professional judgement.
