Ativir Financial Consultants Private Limited is hiring an Assistant Manager – Legal & Compliance to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients and law firms for drafting and vetting transaction documents for secured and unsecured borrowings.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI Debenture Trustee Regulations, LODR, IRDS, and related laws.
- Manage execution and closure of transaction and security documents.
- Confirm Conditions Precedent and Conditions Subsequent as per transaction terms.
- Ensure safe custody of title and transaction documents and issue custody confirmation letters.
- Verify valid creation of charge as per transaction documents.
- Monitor charged securities and compliance with financial covenants.
- Advise clients on regulatory requirements and update them on legal developments.
- Deliver prompt and effective client servicing.
- Maintain willingness to learn and acquire product knowledge.
- Exhibit strong communication and coordination skills.
Eligibility
- Experience in legal drafting, compliance, and transaction documentation preferred.
- Knowledge of SEBI regulations, trusteeship operations, and financial covenants.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic regulatory environment.
