Details of the Job/Internship
Infogain is hiring for the position of Assistant Manager with 6 years of experience to join their office in Noida.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and enhancement of the enterprise-wide Privacy Governance Framework.
- Conduct and maintain:
- Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Records of Processing Activities (RoPA)
- Privacy Threshold Assessments (PTAs)
- Embed Privacy by Design and Default into business processes, applications, and product lifecycles.
- Manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), erasure requests, and consent management processes.
- Monitor compliance with global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, PDPA, HIPAA).
- Conduct third-party vendor privacy assessments and review DPAs and SCCs.
- Track and report on regulatory changes; recommend compliance strategies.
- Draft and maintain privacy policies, cookie notices, and internal standards.
- Support internal audits, investigations, and breach response alongside Legal and IT.
- Develop and deliver privacy training & awareness programs across global teams.
- Represent Infogain in external privacy forums and working groups.
Eligibility
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA, LLM, or MS in Cyber Law/Information Security) preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in privacy, data protection, IT compliance, or legal advisory roles.
- Hands-on experience in IT services, SaaS, or BPO/ITES privacy programs.
- Certifications (preferred – any two):
- CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, CIPT
- DCPP (Data Privacy Certified Professional)
- ISO/IEC 27701 Lead Implementer/Auditor
Bonus Certifications:
- ISO 27001 LA, CRISC, or familiarity with NIST Privacy Framework
Knowledge & Skills:
- In-depth understanding of global privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDP Act, PDPA, HIPAA).
- Expertise in cross-border data transfer mechanisms (SCCs, BCRs, etc.).
- Familiarity with consent management and privacy tools.
- Strong policy drafting, risk assessment, and legal interpretation skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with engineering, business, and legal stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and project management abilities.
Soft Skills:
- High integrity, discretion, and professional ethics.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
