Details of the Job/Internship

Meesho is hiring an Assistant Manager - Corporate Legal with experience of 3-6 years of PQE to join their office in Bengaluru

Role and Responsibilities

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of diverse commercial agreements, including SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnerships.
• Advise on corporate governance and compliance under the Companies Act, FEMA, and SEBI regulations.
• Support and execute corporate transactions such as M&A, joint ventures, and restructurings.
• Partner with business teams to anticipate legal risks and develop pragmatic solutions.
• Manage external counsel for specialist mandates and due diligence processes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and proactively recommend internal policy or process changes.
• Drive improvements in contract lifecycle management and risk frameworks.

Eligibility

• Qualified LLB from a recognized university.
• 3-6 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE).
• Proven experience in a reputed law firm or in-house role with exposure to corporate advisory and transactions.
• Experience handling cross-border contracts and complex commercial negotiations.
• Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law.
• Strategic thinker with sharp problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
