Details of the Job/Internship
JSW Steel is hiring an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – Legal & MIS with 3-5 years of experience to join their office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Register and oppose trademarks; update the trademark portfolio database.
- Track similar corporate names and appear before the Regional Director.
- Draft and vet agreements such as share purchase, joint venture, sale, supply, service, and trademark license agreements.
- Handle civil and arbitration matters.
- Develop and update legal and compliance MIS systems.
- Review financing documents including facility agreements, loan agreements, and security documents.
- Consolidate feedback, lead negotiations, and coordinate execution of finalized legal documents.
- Support finance teams in loans, debenture issues, promoter funding, and project financing.
- Ensure compliance with corporate laws and contractual covenants.
Eligibility
- LL.B. with 3–5 years of relevant legal experience.
- CS qualification preferred.
- Proficiency in drafting and document review.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate internally and externally.
- Openness to learning and growth.
