Details of the Job/Internship
Ampersand Group is hiring an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/Manager – Legal (Intellectual Property) with 5–10 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct trademark searches and prepare reports.
- File trademark applications and draft replies to examination reports, affidavits, oppositions, and counter-statements.
- Attend trademark show cause hearings and manage trademark enforcement.
- Draft and review various agreements including service, consultancy, NDA, vendor, software license, trademark license, employment, and engagement letters.
- Meet and coordinate with external legal counsel on company matters.
- Conduct legal research and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide legal support to various departments and communicate updates on legal developments.
- Manage original contracts, oversee renewals, and ensure timely legal payments.
- Send regular legal updates, news, and judgments.
Eligibility
- Qualification: LLB from a recognized college/university.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
