Details of the Job/Internship

Subex is hiring an Assistant Manager/Manager – Legal with 7–10 years of post-qualification experience for a full-time, on-site role in Bengaluru. The position focuses on commercial contracting, customer bids, partner engagements, vendor agreements, and legal research, with responsibility for managing contract lifecycle processes in a technology and sales-driven environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, vet, and negotiate customer contracts in line with Subex contracting standards, including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, software licence and services agreements, change requests, addendums, and amendments.
• Review and provide legal inputs on RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs from telecom clients and identify contractual and compliance risks.
• Review, negotiate, and close legal documentation for partners, resellers, distributors, and teaming partners.
• Review, negotiate, and finalise vendor agreements, NDAs, subcontractor agreements, and third-party documentation.
• Update contract templates as required.
• Conduct legal research on statutes, rules, governing laws, and emerging legal concepts.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of experience in commercial contracting for software or SaaS companies.
• Expertise in corporate law and relevant legal frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in bid reviews, partner agreements, and third-party documentation.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Prior experience in the technology or telecommunications sector is preferred.
