Details of the Job/Internship

Seamedu, in association with Dr. DY Patil University Ambi, is hiring dedicated Assistant and Associate Professors in Law to join the School of Law at Pune.

Role and Responsibilities

• Design and deliver lectures for LL.B, B.A. LL.B, BBA LL.B, and LL.M programs.
• Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials aligned with UGC, BCI, and university standards.
• Conduct classroom, online, and experiential teaching using innovative pedagogical tools.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and viva voce.
• Undertake individual and collaborative legal research and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Guide undergraduate and postgraduate research and dissertations.
• Participate in faculty development programs, workshops, conferences, and seminars.
• Engage in student mentoring, moot courts, legal aid clinics, and outreach activities.
• Contribute to administrative duties, accreditation processes, and institutional audits.
• Liaise with legal professionals and support internships, placements, and guest lectures.

Eligibility

• LL.M with at least 55% marks or equivalent. Ph.D. in Law preferred or in progress.
• UGC NET/SET qualified in Law unless Ph.D. awarded as per UGC regulations.
• Minimum 5 years teaching experience for Associate Professor.
• Prior academic or industry experience and interdisciplinary legal study exposure preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge including Indian Constitution, Jurisprudence, Criminal Law, IPR, and International Law.
• Proficient in research, case analysis, legal writing, and digital teaching platforms.
• Passion for teaching, student engagement, and academic excellence.
• Ability to update and train students on changing legal dynamics including AI and Machine Learning.
