Details of the Job/Internship
National Law School of India University is hiring an Assistant Professor (Law) on a 5-year contract, with expertise across major law subjects, to join their Bengaluru campus.
Role and Responsibilities
- Teaching courses across various law subjects.
- Engaging in academic research and scholarly activities.
- Participating in institutional responsibilities as assigned.
- Contributing to curriculum development and academic initiatives.
Eligibility
- Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognised university.
- Must have cleared UGC NET/SLET/SET, or be exempt under UGC Regulations 2018.
- Candidates awarded a Ph.D. in Law under UGC Regulations (Appendix A – Sections I & II.1) are exempt from NET.
- All academic qualifications must comply with Appendix A — Sections I & II.1 of the University notification.
- Foreign Nationals / OCI / NRI / PIO may apply, subject to Employment Visa/FRRO compliance.
- Degrees from foreign universities must be recognised as equivalent in India under UGC equivalence guidelines.
- Qualifications must be from recognised institutions.
Salary/Stipend
Level 10, as per VII CPC.
