Details of the Job/Internship
SRM Institute of Science and Technology is hiring an Assistant Professor in Law for a full-time, on-site role at its Chengalpattu campus.
Role and Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high-quality lectures in law subjects.
- Conduct academic and legal research and publish research outcomes.
- Mentor students and guide them in academic and research projects.
- Develop and update course materials and curriculum content.
- Participate in academic conferences, seminars, and workshops.
- Contribute to departmental growth and institutional initiatives.
Eligibility
- Expertise in various domains of law, including constitutional, administrative, civil, and criminal law.
- Strong legal research and academic writing capabilities.
- Aptitude for teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in guiding academic projects and research supervision.
- Ph.D. in Law or enrolment in a Ph.D. programme is preferred.
- Prior teaching or legal practice experience is an advantage.
- Commitment to academic excellence, ethics, and education.
