Details of the Job/Internship
SMS Law College is hiring an Assistant Professor of Law for a full-time, on-site role in Varanasi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive lectures on Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and other related legal subjects.
- Participate actively in departmental academic planning and curriculum implementation.
- Organize and lead academic seminars, workshops, and moot court activities.
- Conduct original legal research and contribute to scholarly publications.
- Assist in the administrative activities of the college, including admissions or examination duties.
- Guide and mentor B.A. LLB students in their legal studies and career development.
- Collaborate with faculty members to improve teaching methodologies and institutional standards.
Eligibility
- Mandatory Qualification: LL.M. with NET/SET or a Ph.D. in Law.
- Strong background in teaching and a demonstrated ability to guide students.
- Hands-on experience in conducting legal research and publishing in reputed journals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous academic experience or relevant professional experience in the legal industry.
- Deep expertise in core legal subjects, particularly Constitutional and Criminal Law.
